About the area
Aqua sits where Mission Creek meets Okanagan Lake, in the Lower Mission: a quiet lakeside neighbourhood about 5 km south of downtown Kelowna, known for its beaches, parks and trails.
Beaches and parks
Aqua fronts its own public beach and boardwalk. Within a short walk are Truswell Park, a City park and beach at the mouth of Mission Creek; Rotary Beach on Lakeshore Road, popular for kiteboarding and windsurfing; and Boyce-Gyro Beach, about 1.3 km north. The Mission Creek Greenway starts nearby: more than 16 km of gravel trail for walking, running and cycling, with dogs allowed on leash. Sarsons Beach, a quieter beach with a playground, is about 2 km south.
Shopping and dining
Mission Park Shopping Centre on Lakeshore Road, about 1.8 km away, has groceries, a pharmacy and everyday services. The shops, cafes and restaurants of Pandosy Village are about 2 km north.
Schools
Casorso Elementary on Casorso Road is the closest elementary school, and Anne McClymont Elementary is further south on Lakeshore Road. École KLO Middle School and Okanagan Mission Secondary are on Gordon Drive. Okanagan College's Kelowna campus on KLO Road is about 2 km away. School catchments are set by School District 23, so check the catchment for a specific home with the district.
Recreation
The H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre on Gordon Drive, with its pools, waterpark and gym, is less than a kilometre away as the crow flies.
Getting around
BC Transit's frequent Route 1 runs along Lakeshore Road between the Mission Rec. Exchange and downtown Kelowna, stopping at Okanagan College and South Pandosy. Downtown is roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive, and Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is roughly 25 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Lakeshore Road has bike lanes along parts of its length, with more being added by the City.

- Is Aqua finished, or is it a pre-sale?
- It's built. Mission Group lists the final release of homes as move-in ready, so you can see a home before you buy and move in soon after completion of the sale.
- What is the Aqua Boat Club?
- It's the on-site boating club. Members' boats are stored indoors and launched by valet staff, and there is a boat-share program for people without their own boat. Membership is separate from buying a home; ask Russell for the current terms.
- Which homes are left?
- The final phase includes 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom homes, Lakehouses and Penthouses. What's left changes quickly, so ask Russell for the current list, floor plans and pricing.
