Living in Revelstoke

Revelstoke is served by School District No. 19 (Revelstoke): Arrow Heights Elementary, Begbie View Elementary and Columbia Park Elementary (K–7), and Revelstoke Secondary (8–12).

Short-term rentals in Revelstoke

As of 30 October 2026, B.C.'s principal-residence rule for short-term rentals does not apply in the City of Revelstoke, which is on the province's exempt list. The City has its own rules: a short-term rental needs a yearly business licence, and is only allowed where the property's zoning lists short-term rental as a permitted use. The rural area outside the city (Electoral Area B) has opted into the provincial rule. The City is updating its rules, so check the current bylaw and the property's zoning before you buy.
