About the area
Nolita is on Coronation Avenue in the north end of downtown Kelowna, an area locals sometimes call the brewery district, a short walk from the Cultural District and the lake.
Lake and parks
Waterfront Park, with its Island Stage, lagoons, boardwalk and Tugboat Beach, is close by. Knox Mountain Park, Kelowna's largest natural area park and one of its most popular hiking spots, starts just north of downtown.
Arts and entertainment
The Cultural District covers six blocks of galleries, theatres, museums and public art. Prospera Place, home of the Kelowna Rockets, hosts hockey and concerts.
Schools
UBC Okanagan's downtown campus, on Doyle Avenue, is under construction. School catchments are set by School District 23, so check the catchment for a specific home with the district.
Getting around
BC Transit's Route 2 North End Shuttle connects the area with Queensway Exchange, downtown's main transit hub. The Okanagan Rail Trail starts downtown and runs north toward the airport and beyond.
