Savoy sits on Clement Avenue in downtown Kelowna's North End, at the edge of the Cultural District. The lake, the arena and downtown's restaurants are all within walking distance.
Lake, beaches and parks
Waterfront Park, with its beach, trails and lakeside boardwalk to City Park, is a short walk away. Across the Harmony Bridge is Tugboat Beach, and nearby Rotary Marsh has a boardwalk through a wetland that's popular with birders. Knox Mountain Park, Kelowna's largest natural area park, starts just north of downtown.
Arts and entertainment
Prospera Place, home of the Kelowna Rockets and a major concert venue, is close by. The Cultural District includes the Rotary Centre for the Arts, the Kelowna Art Gallery, the Kelowna Community Theatre, the Okanagan Heritage Museum and the Laurel Packinghouse.
Schools
UBC Okanagan's downtown campus, on Doyle Avenue, is under construction, with opening expected in 2027 or 2028. School catchments are set by School District 23, so check the catchment for a specific home with the district.
Getting around
Queensway Exchange, downtown's main transit hub, is about a kilometre away. BC Transit's 97 RapidBus links downtown with UBC Okanagan and West Kelowna. Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is roughly a 20 to 25 minute drive, depending on traffic.
