About the area

Lake Pointe Village is on Okanagan Centre Road East in Lake Country, a community of orchards, vineyards and lakes between Kelowna and Vernon.

Lakes and parks

Lake Country has beaches on three lakes. Beasley Park and Reiswig Regional Park are at the south end of Wood Lake, and Okanagan Centre has Pebble Beach, 4th Street Beach and the Safe Harbour boat launch on Okanagan Lake. Swalwell Park, in the Town Centre, reopened in 2026 with a new playground, a larger splash park and an outdoor fitness area.

Trails

Pelmewash Parkway runs along the west side of Wood Lake and joins the Okanagan Rail Trail, a gentle, continuous trail toward Oyama and Coldstream.

Schools

School catchments are set by School District 23, so check the catchment for a specific home with the district.

Getting around

BC Transit's Route 23 Lake Country connects the area with Kelowna International Airport (YLW) and UBC Okanagan, and the developer says a stop is about a minute's walk away. The developer also lists the airport and UBC Okanagan as under 15 minutes by car.
