About the area
Lakestone is on the hillside above Okanagan Lake in Lake Country, near Okanagan Centre, between Kelowna and Vernon.
Lake and parks
Okanagan Centre has Pebble Beach, 4th Street Beach and the Safe Harbour boat launch, and Okanagan Centre Park sits beside the Lake Country Museum. Swalwell Park, in the Lake Country Town Centre, reopened in 2026 with a new playground and a larger splash park.

School catchments are set by School District 23, so check the catchment for a specific home with the district.
Getting around
Lakestone lists Kelowna International Airport (YLW) about 9 minutes away by car, UBC Okanagan about 12 and downtown Kelowna about 25. BC Transit's Route 23 Lake Country serves the Town Centre, the airport and UBC Okanagan.
