The Rise Golf Course, a Fred Couples signature course, is just above the community. Down at the lake, Paddlewheel Park in Okanagan Landing has a beach, boat launch, playground and courts, and Kin Park and Canoe Beach has shallow water for kids.

Downtown Vernon has shops, restaurants and services. Vernon Jubilee Hospital, on 32nd Street in Vernon, has 24-hour emergency services.
Schools
Public schools here are run by School District 22 (Vernon), which serves Vernon and Coldstream, so check the catchment for a specific home with the district.
Getting around
BC Transit's Route 8 serves the Bella Vista area and Route 90 connects Vernon with UBC Okanagan and Kelowna International Airport (YLW).
