Morningview is on the east side of Middleton Mountain in Coldstream, next to Vernon.
Lakes and trails
Middleton Mountain sits at the head of Kalamalka Lake, and its trails have views of Vernon and the valley. Kalamalka Lake, known as the "lake of a thousand colours," is about 16 km long; Kal Beach and the Rotary Pier are popular for swimming and paddleboarding.
Shopping and services
Downtown Vernon has shops, restaurants and services. Vernon Jubilee Hospital, on 32nd Street in Vernon, has 24-hour emergency services.
Schools
Public schools here are run by School District 22 (Vernon), which serves Vernon and Coldstream, so check the catchment for a specific home with the district.
Getting around
BC Transit's Route 1 runs from Coldstream, including Middleton Way, to downtown Vernon, and Route 90 connects Vernon with UBC Okanagan and Kelowna International Airport (YLW).
