Vista is inside Predator Ridge Resort, a golf and trail community on the hills southwest of Vernon.
The resort
Predator Ridge has two 18-hole championship courses, the Predator and the Ridge, plus a fitness centre, restaurants and a market. Its hiking and biking trails connect directly to the trail system in Ellison Provincial Park.

Ellison Provincial Park, on Okanagan Lake, has beaches, camping and Otter Bay, a freshwater dive park.

Schools
Public schools here are run by School District 22 (Vernon), which serves Vernon and Coldstream, so check the catchment for a specific home with the district.
